Dayuse.com is the first site to offer daytime hotel bookings.
Founded by David Lebée at the age of 29, along with his two partners Eugénie Lebée and Thibaud D’Agrèves, Dayuse.com saw the day in 2010. Working as director within large Parisian hotel groups at the time, David Lebée was often asked about daytime bookings. Guests wished to book a room for just a few hours, but traditional structures never had an appropriate service to offer. Dayuse.com was created to suit this exact need.
OUR MISSION
Since its creation, the startup has strived to make daytime hotel bookings available to the bigger numbers. Dayuse.com gives its customers the opportunity to enjoy a hotel room as well as other services traditionally available to overnight guests only, in the daytime, at the best possible price.
OUR SERVICE
By giving more people access to these services, Dayuse.com is changing the hotel industry, adapting it to the new, more mobile, connected and demanding way of life we lead today. People can now benefit from hotel spaces to work, for a break or even what we like to call a “daycation”, enjoying the luxuries of high-end hotels at an affordable price (deluxe rooms, room service, spa…).
By optimising the traditional hotel business, Dayuse.com is seducing more and more major establishments as well as independent hotels who see this opportunity as a way to adapt to our time and multiply their streams of income.
A SUCCESS STORY A LA FRANÇAISE
By the end of 2015, the startup received 15 million euros in funding from VCs Idinvest Partners and Partech including investment from renowned business angels Paul Dubrule (co-founder of Accor), Cédric Barbier (founder of Lesjeudis.com) and Charles Petruccelli (ex president of American Express Travel). Rapidly becoming the European leader in daytime hotel bookings, Dayuse.com has since continued to experience exponential growth. The service currently boasts over 7,000 partner hotels and is available both online and in app across 25 countries.
This key role in the transformation of today’s hotel business has earned Dayuse.com a place as a major player in the market.
