How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?

After filling out the booking form, a confirmation page will be displayed. An email containing your booking details and booking number will follow. If any issues arise, please reach out to our customer service team.

No credit card required for my booking, is my booking firm?

Even if a hotel does not require a credit card for booking, your reservation is still confirmed. On the day of your stay, show up at the hotel with your confirmation email and/or your name. The hotel may request a credit card upon arrival for a security deposit. The confirmation email and booking number you receive signify that your reservation is confirmed and secure.

Do I need to bring a booking confirmation to the hotel?

While the hotel is immediately notified of your booking and integrates it into their system, bringing your booking confirmation can expedite the check-in process. It's recommended to carry either a printed or digital copy of your confirmation email as proof of your reservation.

Upon check-in, what are my payment options for the room?

At check-in, you can usually pay for your room using cash or a credit/debit card, unless specified otherwise on the hotel's page or offer. You are allowed to use a different credit card than the one used during the booking process. The acceptance of other payment methods depends on the hotel's policies. For further details, it's best to reach out to our customer service.

Why does the hotel I want to book require a credit card payment?

Hotels often require a credit card to secure bookings for several reasons. This helps guarantee your reservation and protects the hotel from potential losses due to no-shows or late cancellations. For daytime offers, hotels may charge a small booking fee (2 to 7 euros) upfront, with the remaining balance payable at check-in. For availability requests, a pre-authorization hold may be placed on your card, and you will only be charged once the booking is confirmed.
Note that these booking fees are non-refundable. For some hotels, it is possible to book without a credit card and benefit from free cancellation. Overnight bookings typically require full payment at the time of booking. Always check the hotel's specific cancellation and refund policies in the "Hotel Conditions" section.

How do the time slots offered by hotels work?

Check-in and check-out times vary by hotel. The earliest check-in and latest check-out times are specified on each hotel's booking form and are fixed. You cannot access your room before the designated arrival time and must vacate it by the specified departure time. The arrival time entered during booking is just a guideline; you can check in anytime within the provided time slot. Your room is reserved for you until the end of this slot. For late arrivals or cancellations, promptly notify Dayuse.com to allow the hotel to manage the room availability.
