Our 5 step guide to make your daycation one to remember!
Here is our 5 step guide to making your daycation with Dayuse one to remember. We’ve got some gems that you may not even think about when getting ready for your relaxing escape from reality…SO LISTEN UP!
Step One : A clear mind.
Repeat after us: “This is my time to relaaaaaaaax”. Now say it back to yourself 1000 times if you didn’t understand it the first time! In case you are not aware, Me-time is necessary but this is not possible without a clear mind! Clear thoughts and a clear mind equals a good time! Leave all your stresses and worries at home whilst you are on this daycation, we promise you won't’ regret it!
Step 2: Making sure you pick a good hotel with the amenities you are looking for!
Dayuse has over 7000 hotels across the globeeeeeeee! There is a hotel out there for you with everything you’re looking for. Whether it be a pool, a sauna or a continental breakfast, it is out there waiting for you. So take your time on the website or the app and have a good look at the hotels in your area and let the rediscovering of your city and daycation fun begin…
Step 3: A well packed daycation bag.
If you look at one of our previous articles (What’s in my daycation bag), we have made a whole list on the essentials that you should pack in your bag for your relaxing getaway. You can’t afford to forget anything! Your snacks, laptop charger, headphones and many more bits and bobs.
Step 4: Quiet time with yourself.
Take a little time to be alone with yourself or your special plus one. Talk , laugh, cry and have fun on your daycation! This is very important in life in general and during your Dayuse experience! Maybe grab your notebook as well and write your secrets, thoughts, goals and dreams!
Step 5: Let yourself have a good time
On this daycation that you have planned for yourself, make it an obligation to ENJOY YOURSELF. Leave the stress of work, kids, even the husband or wife behind you! ( Only if you are not going with them and if you are going with them forget what we just said :/). But what you should take away from this is that you need to live in the moment, enjoy yourself and have a great time being a daydreamer!
